Host Jimmy Fallon began by bringing up the Captain America musical that will be featured in an early Hawkeye episode, asking if there was any possibility for a future Avengers musical on Broadway.

Kevin’s [Feige, head of Marvel] head is really turning on this,” Jeremy laughed. “I have no idea what he’s going to do with it. There’s a lot more of the show that’s in the Hawkeye show. But who knows?”

Jimmy followed up by asking if there would be a surprise cameo from Florence Pugh‘s character Yelena from Black Widow.

“Who?” Jeremy replied coyly. “Is that right?”

Elsewhere in the interview, the actor said that when he was first cast as the superhero he could never have imagined playing a superhero by the time he turned 50. The actor celebrated his fiftieth birthday back in January.

“I think there [were] ideas of adapting it initially, but it was 11 years ago,” Jeremy told Jimmy. “I remember one of my first thoughts in like 2010, 2011, was like, I don’t want to be 50 in tights! No one wants to see me at 50 in tights.”
