Wicked: For Good director Jon M. Chu is teasing that there’s a special celebrity guest star involved in the second film in the franchise.
We haven’t heard who the star is in question, but the director did reveal how it happened and when we’ll know who it is.

He told Deadline he DM’d the mystery celeb on Instagram. He shared, “I was like, ‘It’s not a ton of lines, but maybe you have a little time. I know you’re busy. I’ll come to you.’ He was like, ‘Why the f-k not, let’s go!’ And then we went ahead and recorded the lines.”
Jon added, “Man, wait until the red carpet when the actor who gave us the Cowardly Lion’s voice steps foot on it. It’ll be wild.” So it looks like we’ll know who it is at the film’s premiere, which will happen in the coming weeks!
