Selena Gomez is revealing the advice Taylor Swift gave to her.
The 33-year-old Rare Beauty entrepreneur made an appearance at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit on Wednesday (October 15) in Washington, D.C.

During the appearance, she spoke highly of her BFF, who just made history with her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“She’s one of the most brilliant people I’ve ever met. She is very strong in her lane, and she gives great advice all the time,” Selena said.
“I’m not sure what I would say I’ve done for her other than been there as a friend.”
She went on to explain that Taylor once shared some important advice: “If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.”
She added it’s the reason she surrounds herself with “really incredible people.”
Selena also recently shared photos and videos with Taylor from her wedding!
