Anna Camp is opening up about her coming-out journey!
The 43-year-old Pitch Perfect star is in a relationship with girlfriend Jade Whipkey and during a recent interview with Out Magazine, she got candid about her sexual orientation.

“I just want to share that it is never too late to evolve into your truest self. Dismantling the mask of armor I had created for myself in order to navigate and survive taught me just that. I was merely surviving, not really living. And now I finally feel like I’m becoming the real Anna, thriving and alive,” she told the magazine.
“The largest obstacle I faced this year personally was juggling the emotions about coming out in my 40s,” Anna continued. “Which included guilt for not embracing it sooner and excitement for finally being free from the constraints that had been placed on me by society and my upbringing.”
Before dating Jade, Anna was publicly married to fellow Pitch Perfect star Skylar Astin from 2016 to 2019. Before that, she married Michael Mosley in 2010. They divorced in 2013.
Discovering her true self became easier for her through the support she received from her “friends and family.” The True Blood alum also says she connected with “supportive members of the queer community.”
Anna went public with her relationship with Jade, 24, back in May. They later made their red-carpet debut as a couple for the actress’ movie Bride Hard in June.
