Another detail about Brandon Blackstock‘s death has come to light after his passing at the young age of 48.
It was previously released that he died from melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
Now, his death certificate has been released and there is a condition listed that contributed to his death.

The death certificate confirmed he passed in Montana on Thursday (August 7) at 11:13 AM local time. It also confirmed that the cancer is what caused his passing.
However, in a piece of new information, it listed seizures as “significant conditions contributing to death but not resulting in the underlying cause,” People reports.
He did not have an autopsy performed and was cremated. By the way, it also listed his occupation as rodeo producer, despite being in the music industry for years.
For those who don’t know, Brandon shared daughter Savannah, 23, and son Seth, 19, with his first wife, Melissa Ashworth. He also shared daughter River Rose, 11, and son Remy, 9, with ex wife Kelly Clarkson.
