Over the years, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle stayed fairly private about their relationship.
The pair met in 2017, when Prince Harry began dating the now 41-year-old former actress. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were seen out on a number of royal engagements with Prince William and Kate, leading the media to dub them the “Fab Four.”
However, rumors began circulating that tensions had been growing between the now-Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex ahead of Duchess Megan and Prince Harry‘s nuptials in 2018. Two sources spoke with The Telegraph later that year, telling the publication that Kate was “left in tears following a bridesmaids dress fitting for Princess Charlotte.” Kate and Meghan‘s alleged feud continued to be the subject of tabloid speculation for the next few years.
Then in 2020, Harry and Meghan announced that they would be stepping back from their duties as working members of the royal family. While it’s still unclear where Kate and Meghan stand since the the latter’s exit from the royal family, they have made several comments about each other over the years that have given fans some insight into their relationship.
