Gabby Windey is opening up about her split from fiance Erich Schwer.
The breakup was reported earlier this month while Gabby has been in the middle of competing on Dancing With the Stars season 31.
Gabby and Erich fell in love during the latest season of The Bachelorette and she became a contestant on DWTS shortly after her season ended.
During the semi-finals episode on Monday (November 14), Gabby addressed what has been going on in her personal life.

“I did just go through a breakup. The end of our relationship happened because we both weren’t in step and in sync with each other on our common goals or just the way we approach life. We weren’t each other’s best match,” she said.
Gabby continued, “There are so many factors, just in being able to be present. When you’re going through stress in your outside life, it’s hard to come and stay present. But Val [Chmerkovskiy, my dancing partner] makes it easy. He’s been such a good friend, such a good partner.”
The couple broke up less than two months after their engagement aired during the season finale of The Bachelorette. Fans assumed something was up when Gabby stopped wearing her engagement ring on DWTS and Erich was no longer spotted in the studio audience.
