The new HBO series House of the Dragon is coming soon and it’s obviously going to cost a lot, though the price tag isn’t as high as some people might think.

The upcoming series is a prequel to Game of Thrones and takes place two centuries before the events of the hit show.

Game of Thrones cost about $6 million per episode in season one and the price per episode rose to about $15 million for the eighth and final season.

Variety reports that the price tag for each episode will be under $20 million, which isn’t too much above the cost of the GoT final season. The outlet noted that the new series will have “even more CGI dragons expected to be flying around,” so the small increase in price is impressive.

It was also noted that HBO “can make a high-quality series as efficiently and effectively as possible” after producing such shows as Game of Thrones, Westworld, and His Dark Materials.

The cost for each episode in Stranger Things season four is even higher!
