Exciting news for Benedict Cumberbatch!
On Saturday (April 16), Saturday Night Live announced that the 45-year-old Oscar-nominated actor will be hosting the show next month.

While Benedict will be hosting the show, the Grammy-winning group Arcade Fire will be serving as the musical guest.
Benedict and Arcade Fire‘s episode of Saturday Night Live will air on Saturday, May 7.
The episode will air the day after Benedict‘s new movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theaters.
This will mark Benedict‘s second time hosting SNL. He previously hosted the show back in 2016. Arcade Five has been on SNL five times before this – in 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2018.
