The number surpassed 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, which came in at $1.13 billion. As of Tuesday (December 29), the movie’s brought in $516.4 million domestically and $644.9 million at the international box office.

After becoming the No. 1 movie of 2021 worldwide, it’s also No. 1 title of the year overseas among all Hollywood releases, passing No Time To Die. A trio of Chinese movies are still just ahead before the movie can claim the overall No. 1.

No Way Home secured the title in just 14 days, and did so without the China box office, where it does not currently have a date. It is set to be released in Japan in January.

One star just got so much backlash for posting some major spoilers in her Instagram Story.
