Demi Lovato is opening up about sobriety.

The 29-year-old “Sorry Not Sorry” superstar got candid with an announcement on social media on Thursday (December 2).

“I no longer support my ‘California sober’ ways,” Demi wrote on their Instagram Story.

“Sober sober is the only way to be.”

After suffering an overdose in 2018, Demi opened up about her decision to go “California sober” earlier this year.

“‘California Sober’ is extremely important because that song represents an alternate path to the recovery that I’ve been taught… the past 10 years of dealing with this stuff,” they said at the time before changing their mind.

Demi recently spoke out about being misgendered, and what happens if you make a mistake.
