Eurovision is coming around again!

The annual international songwriting competition is set to take place in 2022 in Turin, Italy, and organizers just revealed more details on Wednesday (October 20).

“We are so excited that we once again have over 40 broadcasters competing to win the iconic Eurovision trophy in Turin next May,” said Eurovision’s Martin Österdahl in a statement.

“The team from [Italian broadcaster] Rai are working hard on preparations to welcome all the delegations to a new Host City and ensuring the Eurovision Song Contest will provide the excitement and state-of-the-art spectacle expected by nearly 200 million viewers.”

The Italian city of Turin won as Host City of the 66th Eurovision Song Contest with Måneskin‘s entry.

The two Semi-Finals will take place on May 10 and May 12, and the Grand Final will take place on May 14, and will be held in PalaOlimpico.
