Ireland Baldwin is speaking out about the tragic accident that happened on the set of her dad Alec Baldwin‘s new movie Rust.
If you haven’t heard yet, Alec was using a prop gun on the set of Rust and it misfired, killing the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

“My love and support go to Halyna Hutchins’ family and friends. Sending healing thoughts to Joel Souza. And wishing I could hug my dad extra tight today,” Ireland wrote in a statement on her Instagram Stories on Friday (October 22).
Alec‘s brother Stephen Baldwin is among the others who have spoken out about the accidental shooting on set.
New details have emerged about the prop gun that Alec fired on set.
