SPOILER ALERT – don’t read ahead if you don’t want to know what happened during the season finale of Big Brother!

The latest winner of Big Brother has been announced!

The winner of season 23 of the hit CBS reality competition series hosted by Julie Chen was announced during the season finale on Wednesday (September 29).

Ahead of the finale, there were three contestants left in the house – Xavier, Azah, and Derek – and who were competing to be the final Head of Household. The final HOH gets the power to choose who sits alongside them in the final two before the members of the jury pick the winner.

Earlier this week, Xavier went on to win the first part of the final HOH with Azah winning the second part. During the finale, Xavier won the third part and decided to take Derek to the Final Two, sending Azah to the Jury House.

Azah and the other Jury House members then voted to crown either Xavier or Derek as the new, and first ever Black winner of Big Brother.

Xavier won season 23 in an unanimous vote and was awarded the $750,000 prize!

Tiffany Mitchell

Tiffany was Named America’s Favorite Houseguest by the Fans!

America voted for Tiffany as the Favorite House Guest and was awarded $50,000.
