EASTENDERS’ longest serving character Ian Beale has been off-screen for around a year after making a subtle departure. It was always assumed the Walford businessman would make a return soon, but actor Adam Woodyatt hinted viewers may not even see the final scenes of the iconic character, who could die away from scenes.
