A Quiet Place Part II is making a killing at the box office.

Impressively, the number isn’t far from the film’s $60 million projected pre-pandemic opening last March. After debuting in theaters, the movie will hit Paramount+.

Here’s a summary of A Quiet Place Part II: following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Godzilla vs. Kong previously held the record for highest pandemic opening for a movie.

John Kransinski, who directed the film, made a surprise appearance to promote the movie.
