The official mourning period for the royal family has come to an end following the death of Prince Philip.

Two weeks after the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh on April 9 at the age of 99, the royal family’s mourning period now draws to a close.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson also instructed the U.K. to enter a period of national mourning at that time. Flags were to be flown at half-mast, and some political activities were held until after the funeral on April 17.

On Friday (April 23), the social media profiles of the royal family – which were replaced with monograms and symbols in honor of the late Prince – returned to their usual photos, including Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s profile, which was briefly represented by their joint monogram.
