Filming of The Bachelorette just got more interesting when it was revealed that some of the men who were originally sent home at the start of filming have been asked to return.

A source spoke to US Weekly about Clare Crawley‘s season of the show, which is filming right now in La Quinta, Calif., and shared that some of the men who had been sent home were called up and asked back.

“Last weekend, producers reached out to backup Bachelorette contestants who had been vetted for Clare’s season but were ultimately not cast to film at La Quinta [Resort],” the insider shared with the site.

They added, “When producers reached back out, out of the blue, it was very apparent that something had happened with production.”

Reality Steve, who is an insider himself about the reality franchise, also commented on the story and confirmed it.

“THIS i can confirm actually did happen. Why? I have no idea,” he posted to Twitter. “But guys who were cut and never made to night 1 were reached back out to in the last week and asked back. None have accepted as far as I’ve heard.”

On top of this tidbit about the new season, another rumor going around is that producers are re-casting Clare herself!

One reddit thread suggested that Clare was going to be re-cast with Tayshia Adams, who was on Season 23 of The Bachelor.

“Tayshia is already quarantining at the hotel and they should be taking her phone on Friday (today),” the thread stated. “The plan is for her to call back some of guys that have already been eliminated.”

And it looks like that’s exactly what happened.

It’s important to point out that none of this has been 100% confirmed and are still rumors about what’s happening with the current season. Stay tuned for more information.

Clare‘s season was already pushed back due to the pandemic, recast some of the men, and moved to a singular location.
