EMMERDALE fans saw the death of the late Freddie Jones’ character, Sandy Thomas, take place off-screen after the actor passed away in real life last year. As some of the show’s residents took a trip to Australia for Sandy’s funeral, Doug Potts’ has returned to the Dales with a desire to move there himself, leaving some fans frustrated at the storyline.
