Taylor Swift Wins Artist of the Year at AMAs 2019, Breaks Record for Most Wins Ever

Taylor Swift has officially broken the record for the most AMAs wins of all time!

The 29-year-old singer solidified her status with several wins, including Artist of the Year, at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Taylor had previously tied Michael Jackson for the most wins of all time (24) and now she has surpassed that number by several notches. She is also now the performer with the most Artist of the Year wins ever, with five wins.

During tonight’s show she won – Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video for “You Need to Calm Down,” Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock for Lover, Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary and Artist of the Decade. Her number of wins is now 30!
