The series will be heading to Canada for the first time, which comes with new rules.

“Our production company is Canadian. The people who make our show, they’re passionate about this Canadian takeover,” Erin told Cinemablend.

“But, because we are Americans, we are not legally allowed to host the show. We can only be in it as, like, guest stars.”

“Yeah, a Canadian broadcast show has to be hosted by Canadian talent,” Ben added.

Erin says she’s still “excited to go to Canada, because I’ve never been before.”

So who will the hosts be?

“We know who it is, and I can say that we really like them. It’s another husband and wife team,” Ben teased.

Season 10 of Home Town starring Erin and Ben is set to premiere on January 4. Home Town Takeover Canada is reportedly arriving Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
