“Nothing is changing today. Both streaming services will continue to operate separately,” Netflix said, affirming that the two streamers will remain separate.

They added that there are still more steps to be taken in the process, after winning the bid in a deal valued at an estimated $82.7 billion.

“We have more steps to complete before the deal is closed, including regulatory and shareholder approvals. You’ll hear from us when we have more to share,” the email continued. “In the meantime, we hope you’ll continue to enjoy watching as much as you want, whenever you want – all on your current membership plan.”

Netflix ended the message by linking to their Help Center if subscribers have any additional questions.

If you missed it, the deal is reportedly set to close in 12 to 18 months, so we’ll have to wait to learn more about the companies combining.
