Contrary to popular belief, Ariana Grande doesn’t know what 6-7 means.
During Variety‘s most recent Actors on Actors interview series, the Wicked star was paired with Adam Sandler and there was a moment during their conversation when the Jay Kelly actor said he was doing “6 or 7″ emotional shots back-to-back.

Ariana had a noticeable reaction to Adam saying “6 or 7,” so the internet took the clip and ran with it, assuming that the “Eternal Sunshine” singer was thinking about the 6-7 meme in her head or even internally doing the popular hand gesture with it.
But apparently that’s not the case. The actress commented on a fan video explaining the moment.
“Ariana Grande‘s reaction to Adam Sandler casually saying ‘six or seven’ during their Variety Actors on Actors conversation is already becoming the internet’s new favorite meme,” the fan wrote in the caption of the clip.
Well, Ariana herself responded in the comments section to set the record straight.
“I don’t know what this means! I was reacting to him saying the amount of emotional scenes back to back! I’m scared what is 67,” the songstress wrote.
Later in the replies she added, “actually I don’t want to know please I love you all enjoy ♡.”
