Martha Stewart isn’t your typical grandma!
In a new interview, the 84-year-old entrepreneur revealed that her two grandkids – Jude Stewart, 14, and Truman Stewart, 13 – didn’t give her a traditional grandmother name and instead call her by her first name.
Keep reading to find out more…“They’ve called me Martha since the day they were born,” Martha shared on QVC+’s 50+ & Unfiltered podcast. “And all their friends call me Martha. None of them call me Mrs. Stewart. I’m not a Mrs. Stewart.”
Martha said that the reason why her grandkids call her by her real name is because their mom, Martha‘s only child, Alexis Stewart also calls her “Martha.”
“My daughter calls me Martha,” Martha explained. “She’s always called me Martha.”
The mogul went on to say that she and Alexis, 60, have always been more like “friends” than mother-daughter, adding, “We’ve very different. I’m an extrovert, she’s not.”
Also in the interview, Martha admitted that she, Alexis, and her grandson Truman all use a lot of profanity.
“I have a swearing banshee of a daughter,” Martha said. “And the grandson also swears. He’s only 13!”
As for what her favorite curse word is, Martha revealed it’s “F–k.”
“It’s such a good one,” she quipped.
