Ed Sheeran is possibly getting candid about his personal life in his latest music.
The 34-year-old “Shape of You” superstar released the deluxe edition of his latest album, Play, on Friday (November 28).
Fans are now looking through the lyrics and wondering if he’s singing about his relationship with wife Cherry Seaborn and their daughters Lyra, 5, and Jupiter, 3.

In one song, “Regrets,” he seemingly addresses his + – = ÷ x (“Mathematics”) Tour and the toll in took on the family.
“You’re too young to understand that daddy’s comin’ home / Every time I leave the house, you think I’m forever gone / Guess it’s from the hundred calls, goodnights on the telephone / See this tour, I’ve gotta get it done, but why though? / Always said I’d pause work as soon as you came,” he sings.
Elsewhere, on “War Game,” he presumably shares candid thoughts about his wife, and references almost “movin’ out and movin’ on.”
“There’s no one above or below you, you are all I want / But I feel that it’s not enough, to just offer you my love / Inches from movin’ out and movin’ on / This tension and what we’ve got? / But when will the fightin’ stop?”
On “Problems,” he also alludes to troubles.
“Flowers in our garden are dying / When did the water run dry? / Who can tell? But you want the truth, we’re not fine / We don’t need space, we need time,” he sings.
