Stranger Things season 5 introduces a handful of new characters to the show and one of them is the teacher Miss Harris. Fans might be surprised to learn the sweet connection the actress shares to show creators Matt and Ross Duffer!
Ross uploaded a photo of the character onto his Instagram on Thursday (November 28) and revealed that she is played by his and Matt’s high school drama teacher, Hope Hynes Love.

“High school was rough for me and my brother. But Hope saw something in us we didn’t see in ourselves — and she helped give us the confidence to not only survive those four years, but to move to LA and chase our dreams,” he wrote in the caption.
“Shoutout to all the teachers out there making a difference. And please… let’s prioritize the arts in schools,” Ross concluded.
Several Stranger Things stars commented on the post, including Grace Van Dien, Randy Havens, and Brett Gelman.
