Julianne Nicholson and her husband Jonathan Cake were the latest couple to get stopped by the Meet Cutes London TikTok account.
The 54-year-old actress and her 58-year-old spouse were on their way to his haircut appointment when someone from Meet Cutes ask them to tell the story of how they met.

Julianne was concerned they’d be late for Jonathan‘s hair appointment but he wanted to share their sweet story!
He revealed that they met during an audition for an HBO show called Marriage.
“I wasn’t sure whether she should get the part. She got the part and we got married for real. Life imitated bad art. The show didn’t get picked up but she did, that’s my line.”

The As Just Like That… star joked that they now have two little “spinoff shows,” referring to their two children, Ignatius, and Phoebe Margaret.
They have been together 22 years and Jonathan said his favorite thing about his wife was their shared sense of humor and tastes.
As for their advice for a new couple?
“I tell you what, I felt this real relaxation, this sense of complete ease, this sense of it being obvious. That I’d never had that before and that felt like it was the real thing,” he told the interviewer.
Toward the end, the person filming asked if there was anything they were looking forward to and Jonathan jokingly answered his haircut appointment as they both headed off to avoid being late.
