Wicked: For Good hits theaters on November 21, and fans are eagerly anticipated the thrilling conclusion of the two-part Wicked film adaptation, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
While “Defying Gravity” is the most iconic song featured in the first film, the most notable track from the second installment will of course be the title track, “For Good.”

Written by the musical’s composer Stephen Schwartz, and originally sung by Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel in the 2003 cast recording, the track is a reflection on forgiveness and gratitude, as they wish each other well on their respective journeys.
“Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better? I do believe I have been changed for the better / And because I knew you / Because I knew you / Because I knew you…I have been changed for good,” Glinda and Elphaba sing to each other.
Ahead of the movie’s release, Ariana, Cynthia, Idina and Kristin all sang the song during the NBC Wicked: One Wonderful Night special.
