In The ‘Burbs, which will be set in present day suburbia, we’ll see a young couple (Palmer, Whitehall) who return to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.

The new show will film in Los Angeles at the same location of the original movie, the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot!

In addition to Keke, Seth MacFarlane is also one of the executive producers on the show. Dana Olsen, who penned the original movie, will also serve as a co-executive producer, while the new show will be written and executive produced by Dead to Me writer Celeste Hughey.

Back in February, Variety announced that Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar will also be starring in The ‘Burbs.

Jack will next be starring alongside David Duchovny in the new Prime Video thriller series Malice, which drops on Friday, November 14. Watch the trailer here!
