Cristiano Ronaldo Wants to Meet Donald Trump to Discuss World Peace

One of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s life goals is to have a meeting with Donald Trump.

In a new interview with Piers Morgan, the 40-year-old soccer superstar was asked about the signed jersey he recently sent to Trump, which included the handwritten note, “President Donald J. Trump, playing for peace.”

Cristiano explained that he believes that Trump is someone with the power to influence global change, adding that he hopes to speak with the President about creating world peace.

Keep reading to find out more…“If the world is at peace, that’s our goal,” Cristiano said. “He’s one of the people who can change or help change the world. And that’s my main objective: to meet Trump and talk about world peace. If you can make it happen, he’s someone I’d really like to sit down with.”

The Al Nassr player went on to say that he admires Trump‘s leadership and drive to “make things happen.”

“Here, in the United States – wherever it happens, I’d like to meet him. I know he’s been to Saudi Arabia,” Cristiano said. “I hope to sit down with him someday because he’s one of those people I really like. I think he can make things happen, and I respect people like that.”

He also hinted that he believes that he and Trump share a personal trait, though he declined to say what it is for now.

“I hope the world finds a path to peace soon,” Cristiano shared. “That’s what I’m looking for. And someday, if I get the chance to sit down with him, I’ll tell him what we have in common. But I’ll keep it to myself until that moment.”
