
Rachel Brosnahan is stepping behind the camera for her next project.
On Thursday (November 6), it was announced that the 35-year-old Emmy-winning actress will be making her feature directorial debut with a new documentary exploring the life and legacy of her late aunt, fashion icon Kate Spade.
According to Deadline, the project will be produced by Rachel’s production banner Scrap Paper Pictures, Fisher Stevens’ Highly Flammable, and Connor Schell’s Words + Pictures.

Kate’s widow, Andy Spade, will also serve as an executive producer. The couple married in 1994 and launched her brand, Kate Spade New York, together the year before.
Kate died by suicide at her apartment in New York City back on June 5, 2018. She was 55-years-old. Kate is survived by her and Andy‘s 20-year-old daughter Frances Beatrix.
Shortly after her death, the Kate Spade fashion brand made a $1 million donation to suicide prevention.
It was also recently announced that Rachel is teaming up with Millie Bobby Brown for a new Netflix supernatural drama series.
