Caitlyn Jenner made an appearance on the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians to attend a family dinner with Kris Jenner and all the kids.
The family got together at their former home in Calabasas, California to say goodbye before it went on he market and Kris explained why she invited her ex.
As they held hands around the dinner table, Kris told her kids and grandkids, “Your Dad and I bought this house many years ago, and I think one person isn’t here that should be here to say goodbye with us to this house.”
Caitlyn then walked through the door, much to the surprise of the kids. In attendance were Kourtney, 46, Kim, 45, Khloe, 41, Rob, 38, Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 28, as well as Kris‘ current partner Corey Gamble and many of the grandchildren.
So, why did Kris invite Caitlyn? She explained in a confessional.

“Come join so we can say goodbye to this beautiful house where we made so many beautiful memories,” Kris said to Caitlyn and the group. “I was just saying, we bought this house for Kendall and Kylie and all the kids to grow up in, and we were so excited to make so many special memories.”
In her confessional, Kris tearfully added, “About an hour ago, I called Caitlyn and I said, ‘What are you doing?’ And of course, she said, ‘I’m eating dinner and watching Fox News.’ I said, ‘Of course you are.’ And, I said, ‘Would you like to come say goodbye to El Dorado Meadow with us and be with your kids?’ And she said, ‘I’m on my way.’”
Kendall expressed in a confessional how she was surprised to see her dad there.
“I definitely wasn’t expecting my dad to be here, just knowing the relationship that my mom has with my dad. Not that it’s bad, it’s just distant,” she said. “My mom’s had a hard time inviting my dad to some of our family gatherings in the past, so it makes me happy that Kylie and I didn’t have to ask for my dad to be invited and that my mom just thought it was a good idea regardless.”
Kylie added, “I don’t know if my parents will ever be best friends ever again, but this is definitely a great first step.”
Kendall also shared an update on her relationship with Caitlyn and their differing views.
