Jackie Apostel is sharing some rare insight into her relationship with Cruz Beckham.
If you didn’t know, the 29-year-old songwriter and the 20-year-old son of Victoria and David Beckham have been dating for more than year now.
While sharing a message of support for Cruz in honor of the release of his new song “Optics,” Jackie revealed how the two first met.
Keep reading to find out more…“We first met when we were put into a studio by our managers to write some songs together,” Jackie wrote on her Instagram Story. “I was told you had been working on your own project for ages and shifting sounds a bit, finding yourself.”
She continued, “I went in with an open mind and no idea what to expect. I left that day knowing you were an unbelievable musician but most importantly that you loved it so much from the bottom of your heart and you would never stop, regardless of what anyone else thought.”
As they worked on music together, Jackie said, that “work became friendship and friendship became us.” Now, she continued, “you’ve gone out and found who you want to be right now and are finally ready to share it.”
Jackie also wrote, “I am so proud of you. I love seeing you do everything you said you would. I am your biggest fan forever. I love you.”
She is also credited as a “brand strategist” on Cruz‘s “Optics” music video.
Earlier this month, Jackie addressed criticism of her near ten-year age gap with Cruz.
