Donald Trump Reveals If He Wants to Run for President in 2028, If He’d Consider Vice Presidency

Donald Trump is addressing rumors that he could be considering seeking a third term as President when the 2028 election comes around.

The topic has been broadly debated online. The 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution states that someone can not serve as President more than 2 times: “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”

However, his supporters seem to want him back, and he has been known to hand out Trump 2028 hats.

Now, the 79-year-old is commenting on it.

“I would love to do it…I have my best numbers ever,” he said (via Reuters). “Am I not ruling it out? You’ll have to tell me….All I can tell you is that we have a great, a great group of people, which they don’t.” By the way, Trump‘s disapproval rating is as high as 61%, according to CNN.

He then was asked if he’d ever be Vice President, which is something some MAGA members have seemed to support in order to keep him in office.

“I wouldn’t do that. I think it’s too cute. Yeah, I would rule that out because it’s too cute. I think the people wouldn’t like that. It’s too cute. It’s not – it wouldn’t be right,” he said.

We’re guessing some of these celebrities would be fine with Trump seeking a third term.
