Katharine McPhee got a little help from husband David Foster‘s daughter while styling her look for dinner over the weekend.
The 41-year-old singer and actress was spotted having dinner with David, 75, and friends on Friday night (October 24) at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif.
Katharine went on her TikTok account to share an “OOTD” video for her Friday night look.
“I’m going to dinner with my husband and some friends and I wanted to show you my outfit. I was actually wearing it earlier in the day and I thought, I’m not going to change, I’m just going to do the same thing,” she began.

Kat revealed that David‘s daughter Jordan Foster, who is a stylist, taught her a trick that she followed for this look.
“I have super sensitive skin and I never want to wear these mohair-type sweaters, this is actually cashmere. So I put a white t-shirt on. I actually learned this trick from Jordan Foster. She’s the one who said always put a high-neck white shirt under your sweaters. It’s just a little extra detail,” Katharine said.
