Robert Irwin has a fan in Jonathan Bailey!
The latest episode of Dancing with the Stars was themed “Wicked Night” and the couples danced to songs featured in Wicked and the upcoming sequel Wicked: For Good.
During the episode, the 21-year-old wildlife conservationist and his partner Witney Carson danced to “Dancing Through Life,” which was performed by Fiyero (played by Jonathan, 37) in the first movie.
Then on Friday (October 24), Robert shared a video on Instagram of Witney, 32, presenting him with a bouquet of flowers that Jonathan sent him!
Keep reading to find out more…“Oh my gosh, woah,” Robert says in the video as Witney hands him the flowers. “Those are beautiful. Who are these from? Oh my goodness, that’s gorgeous. Wait, what?”
“It’s from Jonathan Bailey!” he exclaims as he realizes who the flowers are from.
In the card attached to the bouquet, Jonathan wrote, “You are the shiz, Robert. You’ve done all the Fiyeros proud. Cheering you on from afar. Big love, JB.”
“This has made my day,” Robert says. “Thank you so much, Jonathan.”
When Witney then asks, “Do you wanna put those down so we can rehearse?” Robert, still clutching the flowers, runs away and playfully yells, “No!”
In the caption of the post, Robert wrote, “Thank you so much @jbayleaf. What a cool surprise. It was an honour to play Fiyero for the night!”
