Fans have been praising Taylor Swift‘s songwriting for quite some time, and now she has a chance at receiving a formal recognition.
The 35-year-old entertainer is among the nominees for the upcoming 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame class, joining several big names being recognized for the contributions to songwriting, according to Deadline.

Other stars in the inductee nominations include Pink, LL Cool J, Kenny Loggins, Sarah McLachlan, Talking Head‘s David Byrne and KISS‘ Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.
If you don’t know, the the Songwriters Hall of Fame is “dedicated and committed to honor and preserve the contributions and legacies of songwriters of all genres of music, while continuing to cultivate and to encourage the growth of promising writers.”
This is just the nominations, and all of the songwriters on the list are not guaranteed to be in the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction class.
Last year, only nine people were inducted, while 12 were inducted the year before.
