Wendy Osefo is making claims against the police.
The 41-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac star, who was arrested alongside her husband and facing 16 charges, including seven felonies, now says she was arrested illegally and wants the charges dropped.

Wendy‘s lawyer filed documents as part of her criminal case, demanding all charges dismissed due to “defects in the charging document,” per Us Weekly.
Her counsel is demanding that potential evidence be “suppressed because of an unlawful search or seizure,” as well as all wire and verbal communications to be “suppressed because of an unlawful interception.”
In addition, Wendy‘s lawyer said “all admissions, statements or confessions” should not be counted as evidence because “they were unlawfully obtained.”
In a separate filing, Wendy’s lawyer also demanded that the prosecutors turn over any alleged evidence they have, a list of all potential witnesses, and any polygraph results of witnesses who were questioned.
Prosecutors are accusing the couple, who reported a burglary at their home last year, of making misleading statements to insurance companies and reporting various items as stolen that they still either had or returned before the alleged burglary.
The alleged items include designer handbags, jewelry and Wendy’s gold diamond anniversary band, per Us Weekly.
She recently broke her silence on social media after the arrest.
