HBO Max Announces Another Price Hike – Here’s How Much Each Plan Will Cost

The “Basic With Ads” tier is going up by $1/month (to $10.99) and $10/year (to $109.99). Meanwhile, the “Standard” tier will rise by $1.50/month (to $18.49) and $15/year (to $184.99).

The “Premium” option isn’t spared either, jumping by $2/month (to $22.99) and $20/year (now $229.99).

The price hike comes as parent company Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav argued that HBO Max has been “way underpriced” during a tech conference last month, citing the high quality of its original programming as justification for the bump.

So if you’re thinking of locking in the current lower price—or considering whether to continue your subscription, now might be a good time to act.
