Sabrina Carpenter had a milestone moment in her music career this week – her Grand Ole Opry debut!
The 26-year-old “Espresso” singer performed at the iconic venue during its historic 100-year anniversary celebration on Tuesday night (October 7) in Nashville, Tenn.
Sabrina was introduced to the stage by Sheryl Crow and she performed four songs during the show – “Please Please Please,” “Slim Pickins,” “Manchild,” and for the first time ever, “Go Go Juice.”
“last night i made my @opry debut in Nashville and what a magical night it was. The brilliant @sherylcrow took the time to come out and introduce me and i am the biggest fan ever so that made my whole night alone if nothing else!!!” Sabrina wrote on Instagram. “thank you to the showstopping band that accompanied me last night. thank you to my amazing fans who came out and for the Opry frequenters that opened me with welcome ears and hearts :’) I’m a lucky girl!”
The Opry performance happened in between Sabrina‘s two headlining sets at the Austin City Limits festival. She’ll kick off the second sold-out North American leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour later this month, with stops in Pittsburgh, New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
Sabrina just dropped a new song with Taylor Swift!
