The trailer for Colin Farrell‘s new movie has been released!
On Tuesday (October 7), Netflix debuted a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie Ballad of a Small Player starring the 49-year-old Oscar-nominated actor along with Tilda Swinton, Fala Chen, Deanie Ip, and Alex Jennings.
Here’s the synopsis: “Lord Doyle (Farrell) is laying low in Macau – spending his days and nights on the casino floors, drinking heavily and gambling what little money he has left. Struggling to keep up with his fast-rising debts, he is offered a lifeline by the mysterious Dao Ming (Chen), a casino employee with secrets of her own.”
Keep reading to find out more…“However, in hot pursuit is Cynthia Blithe (Swinton) – a private investigator ready to confront Doyle with what he is running from. As Doyle tries to climb to salvation, the confines of reality start to close in.”
Directed by Edward Berger, the movie is based on the book of the same name by Lawrence Osborne.
Ballad of a Small Player will be released in select theaters on October 15 before hitting Netflix on October 29.
