The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, alleges the network defamed him and used his name and likeness without consent, and that the show manipulated storylines and used unauthorized footage to falsely portray him facing financial distress.

Todd claims his image and personal storyline were used without consent for Seasons 6 and 7.

He specifically called out episodes in which castmate Adriana de Moura spread allegedly false claims about his business and financial status.

Mr. Nepola wanted to be Alexia’s husband, not her storyline,” the complaint reads. “Enough is enough.”

Mr. Nepola’s reputation was built on integrity, credibility, and a successful track record in the commercial real estate space. The simple reality is that it takes decades to establish the confidence and trust of savvy real estate investors, and the Defendants have greatly tarnished Mr. Nepola’s standing and reputation due to their callous and reckless disregard for the truth while producing and airing the RHOM,” it reads.

“The Defendants, by filming and airing programing and content they knew or should have known was false in an attempt to manufacture sensational storylines for their reality soap opera, are now causing significant damage to Mr. Nepola’s reputation and standing in the business world.”

Todd claims his net worth exceeds $100 million in the suit, and he had no financial issues.

He is seeking $10 million in damages for defamation, as well as $1 million for unauthorized use of his name and likeness, plus injunctive relief to “prevent further misuse or rebroadcast of his image,” according to a release alongside the complaint.

Todd filed for divorce from Alexia in 2024 after two years of marriage. They married in December 2021 after dating for several years. She recently gave a relationship update.
