Henry Cavill Shares Recovery Update Following ‘Highlander’ Set Injury

Henry Cavill is sharing an update on his recovery.

Last month, it was revealed that the 42-year-old actor was injured during the pre-production of his upcoming Highlander reboot movie.

He later shared a photo of his foot and ankle wrapped in bandages while there are also scrapes and bruises along his leg and knee.

In a new Instagram post shared on Wednesday (October 1), Henry provided an update on how is recovery is going.

Keep reading to find out more…“‘Endure. In enduring, grow strong,’ – Dak’kon, Planescape: Torment,” Henry wrote along with several photos of himself training while still wearing a boot on his left leg.

The original Highlander released in 1986 was an action fantasy film starring Christopher Lambert as the immortal warrior Connor MacLeod, a role that Henry will take on in the reboot.

The reboot cast also includes Karen Gillian, Dave Bautista, Russell Crowe, Marisa Abela, Max Zhang, and Djimon Hounsou.

Due to Henry‘s injury, production for the reboot has been pushed back to early 2026.
