Elon Musk is calling out Netflix.
The 54-year-old Tesla billionaire, who is still the richest man in the world, urged his 226 million X followers on Wednesday (October 1) to “cancel Netflix for the health of your kids” after boosting criticism of animated series Dead End: Paranormal Park and its creator Hamish Steele.

Resurfaced posts allegedly made by the show’s creator started gaining the attention of right-wing accounts like Libs of TikTok.
The unverified screenshots circulating show the creator seemingly dismissing tributes made to Charlie Kirk following his recent shooting death. Critics also resurfaced clips from Dead End, in which a protagonist comes out as transgender, calling it an attempt to “push” pro-transgender ideology on kids.

“This is not ok,” Elon wrote.
Dead End was already canceled in 2023, and is not being actively promoted, per Variety.
“I have mostly been very ok today and found it all quite funny, while really appreciating everyone who has reached out, but the extremely nasty weird homophobic and antisemitic emails have started rolling in and it is getting a little scary so I apologize if I take longer to respond to stuff,” the show’s creator said on Bluesky, per Variety.
The Libs of TikTok account also went after Netflix’s CoComelon Lane, posting a scene which “showcases a little boy in a dress, dancing for his two gay dads.”

Elon, who has publicly clashed with his own trans daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, reshared several posts, doubling down with his own calls to boycott the streamer, accusing them of promoting a “woke agenda.”
Searches for “cancel Netflix” spiked online the same day, as Netflix stock dipped about 2% throughout the day, according to Business Insider.
Meanwhile, Elon‘s dad is being accused of child sexual abuse.
