Dylan O’Brien Reacts to Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Villain’ Lyric, Rumored to Be About Him

Dylan O’Brien is speaking out in response to rumors that Sabrina Carpenter referenced him in the lyrics for her song “Go Go Juice.”

The new song from Man’s Best Friend seemingly references several of Sabrina’s famous exes by rhyming their first names with other words. Dylan was rumored to be dating her back in 2022 when they were spotted kissing in New York City, though nothing else was ever heard about the reported relationship.

“I’m just drinking to call someone / Ain’t nobody’s safe when I’m a little bit drunk / Could be John or Larry, gosh, who’s to say? / Or the one that rhymes with villain if I’m feelin’ that way,” Sabrina sings.

Fans believe that John refers to Shawn Mendes, Larry refers to Barry Keoghan, gosh refers to Joshua Bassett, and villain refers to Dylan.

So, what did Dylan say?

After Andy Cohen brought up the theory on Watch What Happens Live, Dylan replied, “Huh… well, I wasn’t aware.”

“Oh, and my name rhymes with villain. Well, she never drunk dialed me,” Dylan added. Andy responded, “Maybe you just didn’t pick up… your house famously doesn’t have service.”

Dylan replied, “Yeah, you have to get me by FaceTime audio.”
