Paul Rudd and Jack Black are starring in the new comedy/action movie Anaconda!
The two stars as a pair of friends who set out to make a remake of the film of the same name, “indie style,” and the trailer was just released on Wednesday (September 17).

Here’s a synopsis: Doug (Black) and Griff (Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic “classic” Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. The movie they’re dying to make? It might just get them killed……
Also starring in the movie include Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior and Selton Mello. Tom Gormican directs from a script he co-wrote with Kevin Etten.
Anaconda is slated to hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th.
