Scott and Mark (formerly Mark Manio) first met through a mutual friend’s birthday party back in 2017, and after six years of dating, Scott proposed during a trip to the Bahamas in 2022.
The couple got married a year later in an intimate ceremony officiated by Christina Perri on July 7, 2023 in Santa Barbara, Calif, which included a performance of a special original song “Four” that Scott wrote just for Mark. He also did a surprise BLACKPINK medley!
Mark is originally from Seattle, and has a background in marketing and PR, and has also become a creative partner alongside his husband.
They have released two children’s books, including How Lucky Am I? and Fa La La Family, and a children’s album called M.Y. F.A.M.I.L.Y., featuring clips from Mark‘s Filipino parents. Mark also manages the group Citizen Queen, and co-wrote Pentatonix‘s single “Thank You.”
In June of this year, the couple revealed that they are preparing to expand their family through surrogacy.
“Next summer, we’ll have a baby for sure,” Mark confirmed to People. Find out more about their next big step!
