Leslie Odom Jr is officially back on Broadway for the first time in over a year!
The 44-year-old actor just kicked off his limited run in Hamilton, reprising his role of Aaron Burr to rapturous applause and cheers from the audience at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Leslie stepped back into the role nine years after picking up the Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his performance in the original Broadway production of the hit musical.
He is now one of two OG Hamilton actors in the show, alongside Thayne Jasperson, who has played Samuel Seabury and been part of the ensemble since the beginning of the show.
Once Leslie hit the stage for the first time back in the musical on Tuesday night (September 9), the audience erupted into cheers and applause, giving him a standing ovation. Check out the video right here!
Leslie is only back in the show for a few months, with his final performance slated for November 23rd, and ticket prices have already skyrocketed!
