Martha Plimpton is getting candid about her mental health!

At the Task premiere in New York City, the 54-year-old actress was sporting a necklace that reads “ADHD.”

While speaking to Page Six about the fashion statement, Martha opened up about being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult.

“I’m actually a late diagnosis ADHD, like millions of others. It was actually a huge relief to be diagnosed,” Martha told the publication, sharing that she was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) when she was “about 50.”

The actress went on to share that she’s “not ashamed” to talk about her diagnosis. According to Martha, getting the diagnosis helped her to understand things in her life and that she feels like she’s “finally free” now that she has answers.

“So many little things fell into place and made sense that hadn’t made sense before,” Martha told the publication at the premiere of her new show.
