Josh Groban performed two hometown shows at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend and they paid tribute to the city of Los Angeles!
The five-time Grammy-nominated singer joined the L.A. Phil on Friday (September 5) and Saturday (September 6) to perform music that he felt represented his love for his hometown.
Josh performed such songs as “Angels” by Robbie Williams, “Skyfall” by Adele from Skyfall, “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, “Brucia La Terra” from The Godfather, and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz.
During the show, Josh also teased that his next album is going to be a cover of music from movies!
“There are so many songs with incredible film composers and for films and I realized that very deep into my career, I have such a rich history with film music, and so I’m excited,” Josh said about his next album.
